Toulouse's Pier Planas is back with a new album: L'Aiguille et le Fil. On stage, accompanied by LeGroupe, he presents his new intimate and hard-hitting show, and attempts the unlikely feat of getting all his musical styles to coexists, driven by the same energy. This is how he switches from pumped-up Gypsy jazz to 1960s rock 'n' roll, and from funky blues to minimalist zouk. Often compared with Bob Dylan, Donovan is a tremendous artist who was notably involved in the psychedelic, flower power and pacifist movements of the 1960s. He enjoyed a string of successful records which confirmed his talent as a composer of melodies: Colours (1965), Mellow Yellow and Sunshine Superman (no. 1 in the USA in 1966), The Hurdy Gurdy Man (1968) and Lalena (1969). Donovan rubbed shoulders and worked with the greatest, from the Rolling Stones to the Beatles, from Jimmy Page to John Paul Jones etc. His talent as an instrumentalist and composer also influenced many young artists.
For this unique concert in the Jean-Deschamps Theatre, Donovan has invited three talented artists: Nolwenn Leroy, Jean-Louis Aubert and Marianne Faithfull, to share the stage with him. A great gift for the Carcassonne public with a concert that promises to be magical!

Lescop is a young artist, a French singer and songwriter. Lescop aims at getting people to dance while talking about his obsessions: complex human relationships, love, films, punk rock and a whole range of heroes including Yukio Mishima, Marlene Dietrich, Jean-Pierre Melville, Jesse Owens etc. Lescop, who grew up listening to Strychnine, Taxi Girl and Polnareff, has been writing in French for a long time, convinced that French pop music must change its tune, take risks, "reconcile the irreconcilable" in the words of Daniel Darc.

Shaka Ponk was born between Paris and Berlin in the early 2000s, driven by a concept combining music, images and activism. It is now a fully-fledged group, in the tradition of pugnacious and often noisy alternative rock bands spearheaded by Rage Against The Machine, even though the band dislikes being pigeon-holed. The best strategy to express what Shaka Ponk truly believes in is to use technological prowess, even if it means diverting it from its initial purpose, whether via digitally optimised sounds or the use of virtual characters. But Shaka Ponk is first and foremost a collective adventure.

The pop icons are back for a special concert!
An emblematic 1980s pop band with new wave pop albums and hits such as The Reflex, Ordinary World or Rio, the video of which caused a sensation at the time, the mythical Duran Duran have never ceased to reinvent their music, influencing an impressive amount of artists like Kylie Minogue, the Scissor Sisters, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand and David Guetta.

Alan Parsons worked as a sound engineer on the recording of the Beatles' Abbey Road in 1969 and Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon in 1972. Using this experience, he created The Alan Parsons Project in 1975. The Alan Parsons Project achieved worldwide celebrity in 1982 with Eye in the Sky, the most famous record in an unclassifiable career. During their 2010 world tour, their concert at the Paris Olympia delighted their French fans. He returns in 2012 with an incredible show combining musical symphony and a laser show!

Music hall is the source of inspiration for this exceptionally versatile imitator. Using his voice, he surmounts unimaginable challenges. All he needed to fulfil his childhood dream was a big band. This has now been achieved with Fred Manoukian's big band and his 19 musicians. The show hits the ground running. Gerra arrives on stage like a US star, with a brass band. He opens the show, "which is not subsidised by the government", as Charles Aznavour. Two hours of biting humour. But the strong-headed Bénabar, increasingly at ease when he strays off the beaten track, is now freer and more independent than ever and takes full responsibility for his desires and bold decisions
A complete singer, very popular, a performer more than anything, he looks upon his role models (Renaud, Souchon, Bashung, Delpech etc.) like a fan, never imagining he could be their equal. Three years after the orchestrated pop music of the album Infréquentable (which sold 500,000 copies), Bénabar releases a delicate album with Les bénéfices du doute. Guitars, banjos, a honky-tonk piano, an harmonica solo: from Quebec to Ireland passing through Renaud's France, this is referred to as floor music, as if made just as much for the feet as the head.
