Camélia Jordana presents her 3rd album entitled LOST, the culmination of a project developed for more than 2 years, which intends to convey a message of multicultural hope: singing for a generation who pushes boundaries in terms of gender, languages and ideas and who, like Camélia Jordana, fight their battles with joy.
Three synthetic and groovy songs, sung in English, French and Arabic, to set her ideas to music and overcome sadness. The overall project attests to feelings and emotions, the state one can get into in today’s society. The LOST album depicts the chaos resulting from the Paris terror attacks in 2015, proclaiming her love for the flag, the richness and benefits derived from the coexistence of various cultures in France. It raises the issue of the refugee crisis, evokes riots in Baltimore, and pays tribute to Woman power. Joyful music to awaken the senses.
LOST, illustrated by a maze, symbolises the search for a path, light and hope in our world and, in 2019, this new album earned her a Victoire de la musique award in the “World Music” category.
On 12 July, come to Place Carnot to meet Camélia Jordana and experience her warm, cross-cultural and poetic music.
