Car parks are located near the entrances to the Mediaeval City and are free after 8pm.
Underground car parks, inside the Bastide, ring road … There are many parking options in the city centre.
Coolers, folding chairs, parasols, backpacks, suitcases, cameras, computers, tablets, video and sound recording systems, animals, alcohol, knives or blades of any kind, cans, flasks, Thermos bottles, selfie sticks, glass bottles, aerosols, weapons, water pockets, helmets, laser pointers, bags of more than 15 L, tripods, metal objects, glass objects… and any object identified as potentially dangerous by our security officers.
You can bring sandwiches or any other food wrapped in its original packaging, if you want to eat on site.
Small water bottles are also allowed if the cap has been removed; you can also purchase drinks from the Carcassonne Festival and all the shops in the city.
Reflex and bridge type cameras are banned.
Our official photographer is in charge of taking beautiful snapshots which you can find on our Facebook page; just enjoy the show.

Telephones and small cameras are tolerated.
Doors generally open 1h before the show begins.
All shows of the Carcassonne Festival are performed outdoors.
If a show cannot be performed because of adverse weather conditions, its cancellation is communicated as soon as possible on the Festival’s official website and social networks.
As the weather can change rapidly, the final decision (in agreement with the artiste and their producers) is only made a few moments before the time of the performance.
It should be pointed out that the stage of the Jean-Deschamps Theatre is covered: cancellations are therefore very rare.
Yes. Be aware however, for the IN festival, that once the show starts numbered seats are no longer guaranteed.
OFF: yes but you will have to go through security checks again if you wish to subsequently re-enter
IN: yes but all exits are final
As stipulated in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
