Warning about illegal ticket touting
French law no. 2012-348 of 12 March 2012 protects spectators against ticket touting by any company or individual who has not been authorised by the producer of the show. By virtue of this law (article 313-6-2 of the French penal code), it is prohibited to resell show tickets on a business-as-usual basis without the express authorisation of the producer of this show. Failure to comply with article 313)6-2 of the French penal code is punishable by a €15,000 fine. This penalty is increased to €30,000 in the event of a repeat offence. Do not purchase tickets from anyone who is unable to guarantee that they have been authorised by the producer. Otherwise, you could find yourself without recourse if the tickets are not delivered to you or if the tickets delivered do not give you access to the show.
The name of the producer features on every ticket issued. Contact this producer or visit their website.

Is your show postponed to 2022 and you have tickets dated 2020 or 2021?

Deep Purple, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and James Blunt: three international artists initially showing at the 2020 Carcassonne Festival who have had their dates postponed to 2021; then in 2022 because of the sanitary conditions. Despite these difficult postponement decisions, the Carcassonne Festival has done everything possible to maintain these dates and not see them definitively canceled. For good reason: many of you have decided to keep your tickets for these concerts, thus proving your enthusiasm for these artists but also your support for the Festival and we thank you!

Please note that your original tickets, dated 2020 and 2021, remain valid for the new dates of July 2022 without the need for an exchange.
As a reminder, here are the dates for this summer concerning these 3 postponements:

  • Deep Purple: Tuesday July 26, 2022 at 9:30 p.m.
  • Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals: Thursday July 28, 2022 at 9:30 p.m.
  • James Blunt: Friday July 29, 2022 at 9:30 p.m.
