Les copains d'accords
Atypical vocal ensemble Les Copains d’Accords stages large shows and musicals (Notre-Dame de Paris, The Lion King, Les Misérables, This is it, etc.).
They are returning to the OFF Festival for a musical experience during which they will also pay tribute to “great, recently deceased singers-songwriters” (C. Aznavour, J. Higelin, Maurane, M. Legrand, F. Gall, Johnny Hallyday, etc.).
The band plays a surprising mixture of genres which, from Tombé du ciel to Bohemian Rhapsody, from Gospel to Pink Floyd, from Calogero to Ray Charles, encourages its audience to sing along.
Les Copains d’Accords welcome the participation of professionals such as Lucien Di Napoli, (Nana Mouskouri’s conductor, pianist) and John Sombrun, composer and arranger for major TV shows.
Over the years, Les Copains d’Accords vocal ensemble, made up of children, teenagers and adults, has become a family symbiotically built around founder and choirmaster Isabelle Cornu. “Over the years, everyone has grown. Our objective: vocal harmony without altering the artist’s original version. This challenge inspires our repertoire, and stars from the French music scene even take us with them on production sets”
