OrelSan is a French artist, songwriter, director and actor who rose to fame in 2008 via videos posted online. His first album, Perdu d’avance, released in 2009, earned him a Gold Record and a Constantin Prize nomination that same year. A member of the Casseurs Flowters duet, he brought out a third album with his accomplice Gringe, OrelSan and Gringe sont les Casseurs Flowters, in November 2013, before directing Comment c'est loin in 2015, a feature film which chronicled the story of the duet.

Alongside his career in music, OrelSan launched his own brand of clothing - Avnier - in 2014 with Sébastian Strappazon, a Swiss fashion designer.
He returned to music at the end of 2017, with the single Basique, which preceded the release of his third album, La fête est finie, featuring a number of guests such as Nekfeu, Maître Gims, Dizzee Rascal or Stromae. The album was a quadruple platinum record within 3 months of its release, and earned the artist three nominations at the 2018 Victoires de la Musique.
